Bringing a heritage home into this century whislt preserving amazing heritage character is what we love. This home featured removed of external brick walls and subsequent structural steel support to make way for a larger kitchen and living area. The extension and renovation to the rear (not visible from the street) contains a modern master bedroom, ensuite, home office and stunning balcony looking over the city of melbourne skyline. The use of oregon timber, brick and corten steel finishes to the extension gives a stunning result. As this was built 'boundary to boundary', with the neighbours consent, we used suspended scaffoldiong to access the original brickwork.
