Sustainability starts before anything arrives on site. The decisions we make in planning directly reduce what ends up in landfill.

Nothing leaves our sites without intention. How we handle, sort and dispose of materials is a reflection of how we build.

Key initiatives
Waste reduction and recycling systems
Every Transform Homes site operates to a clear waste management standard. Our staff are trained to sort and separate materials so the highest possible rates of recycling and reuse are achieved. Our skip bin provider and demolition contractor both work to the same standard.
What we recycle
Cardboard, batteries, lightbulbs, PET bottles, surplus paint, steel, non-ferrous metals, EPS foam, plaster and Hebel all have dedicated recycling or repurposing streams. The list is longer than most people expect — and that's intentional.
Measuring and reporting
Our skip bin provider sends monthly reports for every active site showing exactly what was recycled, repurposed and what went to landfill. We review that data internally. Accountability isn't something we ask of others without applying it to ourselves.
Reuse and repurposing
Before anything leaves a site, our demolition contractor works with us to assess what can be recovered. Bricks, tiles, concrete and timber are all evaluated for reuse before disposal. It requires more planning — but it's the right thing to do.
