This project moved the original home to the 21st century and included a full renovation to improve the energy efficiency to the home. All wall and ceiling linings were replaced to enable upgraded insulation installation, redesigned living spaces to take advantage of the north aspect and the complete replacement of windows and doors with triple glazed units designed to capture north sun. Other design inclusions were suspended timber panel ceilings and new kitchen joinery with handmade splash back tiles.
